DC PAWS Rescue is now a partner of the No More Homeless Pets Network, a national program of Best Friends Animal Society to help rescues, shelters and other 501(c)3 animal welfare nonprofits work toward the Best Friends’ no-kill mission in an effort to “save them all.” 

Best Friends offers a variety of grants, trainings, resources and other opportunities to its partner members, including the chance to fund raise and participate in the annual Strut Your Mutt regional walks. DC PAWS volunteers are eager and ready to form their team and raise money for the DC-regional walk on Oct. 10. Stay tuned for more details about Strut Your Mutt and our efforts to form a team.

We’re proud and excited to be a part of this network. DC PAWS’ leadership believes in the power of collaboration to help save as many animals as possible. Being a part of this network provides our organization access to Best Friends‘ expertise in rescue and their experience in nonprofits and animal welfare.
